2011 has been EPIC for us here at Buxton, and we are really looking forward to seeing where 2012 takes us.
Here are some of the headlines from 2011…
- 208 brewdays
- 17 different beers
- Range from 3.6% ABV to 9.5% ABV
- 5 IPAs including 2 Black ones (we like IPA, a lot)
- 7 very nice Awards including a Regional Champion created on our £200 bottling contraption
- Staff up from 2.5 to 6.5
- Exports to Sweden, US, New Zealand
- Inside the Top 25 rated Beers in the Country
- New website built
And for the coming year…
- Make our beers even better
- Brew some new styles we haven’t done yet
- Expansion to larger brew-plant already underway
- Proper shop at the brewery
- Brewery tours
- Hit the half-million-pints-brewed landmark and release a super-special beer
- New van
- Welcome in new brewery assistant Joseph, joining us in January from Marble
- Open our own bar…..?
